I woke up naturally at 6:30 am. The beauty of fasting is that I wake up naturally and feeling ready to conquer the world. Never do I wake up sluggish, dreading the day ahead.
Jumped on the trampoline while watching the news.... I wonder if my neighbor downstairs hears the trampoline?
7:00 am - Not hungry at all so had some dandelion root tea. It tastes just like roasted barley tea, but slightly bitter. Yesterday, I felt like I had all heavy juice (i.e.., carrots and beets). Also, the blended spinach with the raw garlic nearly killed me. So, for breakfast, I juiced: celery stalks, cucumber, apple, pear, lemon and ginger. Very green, watery and light. I drank some, poured the rest in my new big thermos.
8:00 am - Walked to work. Walking to work feels goooood.
11:00 am - I definitely feel way better. My face is much thinner and de-puffed.
2:30 pm - Had my first colonic ever. It is definitely uncomfortable but I did feel euphoric right afterwards. Now (3 hours later) I feel fatigue. I really liked the colonic because I feel like all the bad energy stored in the middle area was released during the colonic. Lucky for me, the colonic hydrotherapy office is right by my apartment!
Had to shop again for celery, cucumber and tomatoes. I have been buying produce every day. Juice is not economical, that is for sure. Real Foods is the best market for organic produce. Nothing inside is "conventional." I forgot to buy spinach! Oh ya, Whole Foods does not sell whole bunch of spinach. Odd. Loose spinach does not make enough juice.
4:30 pm - Parched, I juiced 2 slices of watermelon, which amazingly produced one pint of juice. Watermelon is full of water. This was very refreshing. Then I made dinner: fresh carrot juice mixed with 1/2 avocado and added some veggie bouillon and garlic. Very good!!
